They are cut shorter and wider to fit in a diaper cover better without excess bulk. These prefolds are stitched with the highest quality thread and the stitching is reinforced to endure durability and longevity. Nicki's Diapers GreatFit Bamboo Prefolds are made from 55% Bamboo and 45% Organic Cotton. Bamboo is soft, absorbent, and naturally anti-microbial. These prefolds feel buttery soft against your baby's skin while offering an incredibly absorbent diaper, holding even the heaviest wetters! The natural bamboo fibers will wash up beautifully and are much less likely to ever get stinky than a synthetic fiber.

When you receive your Nicki's Diapers Greatfit Prefolds, they will be flat and slightly stiff. To prep them for use, wash and dry them 4-5 times in a hot or warm wash cycle using detergent and drying them in the dryer each time . After they are prepped, they will quilt up and be VERY soft! Nicki's Diapers Greatfit Prefolds will shrink approximately 5-15% during prep.

***Please note that using the sanitize cycle or washing your diapers in water above 120 degrees will not only cause excessive wear and tear on your diapers, but it will also cause them to shrink and quilt more than the below dimensions state.***

Nicki's Diapers Greatfit Prefolds are made up of three panels of fabric in various layers. The outer two panels have 4 layers of fabric and the middle panel has 8 layers of fabric (The XSmall size layering is 3x6x3). This allows the most absorbency to be throughout the wet-zone while keeping the outer panels more trim so various folds can be used with your prefolds. Nick's Diapers GreatFit Prefolds can be used trifolded in your diaper cover or can be folded and secured with a Snappi or Boingo Diaper Fasteners.

Absolutely love these!

I bought these in smalls for my 8-week-old when he outgrew his small GMD prefolds. I also have a few of the Imagine Bamboo prefolds. These are by far my favorite. They are incredibly soft and very absorbent. I have not had any leaks. I would highly recommend these and plan on buying this brand for the remainder of our cloth diapering!

Highly recommend!

Bought Large for my 2 month old (12 lb)baby so that we had room to grow. They prepped perfectly (3 washes and hung to dry)and have continued to increase in absorbency and softness. Worth the investment IMO.

I keep coming back for more!

I fell in love with using prefolds and flats with my last baby. I used some bleached pf's and unbleached. This time I decided to try these bamboo pf's.... oh my gosh! They are sooooo superior! So soft and squishy I can't wait to use them on my baby when she gets here. So far I have 12 xs, 6 small and 6 medium. I keep coming back to get more!

Good prefolds

I bought these (size large) based on reviews because we decided to go the cheaper way and use prefolds and covers. I think that they absorb pretty good. We've never had a leak using them...but we usually change every hour or hour and a half anyway. The only downside is that I don't like the bulkieness, but that's to be expected with prefolds I guess.
